We are located (both sides) of the Dangriga River, just around the bend from the Caribbean Sea. Our 3 acre Garden Campus is maintained as a Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary, with many Green Iguanas, Agouti, Coatimundi, Tayra, Kinkajou, Parrots, Toucans and other Birds and Butterflies of every description. All of our 7 Cabanas are Waterfront, with lovely views of the Dangriga River and surrounding Gardens and Jungle. Each is built in authentic Garifuna/Carib Style, with Queen or Double Beds, private Hot Bath, and well appointed with handmade Craftsman Furnishings and Artworks by local Garifuna and Mayan Artists.

Unlike the overcrowded areas to the North (San Pedro/Ambergris Caye, Belize city, etc) there is little fishing pressure here at the southern end of the Barrier Reef. It is RARE to see another boat fishing! And we have miles of pristine (virgin) Flats, plus the Reefs, Coastal Lagoons and Rivers to test the skills of the most fly Ffsherman.

TARPON are abundant on the Flats and in the Passes around these Coral Islands, all year long. It is not unusual to see large shoals of the "Silver Kings" lazily rolling in the morning sun. Most fish on the reef, run from 30 to 60 pounds; but 100 pound plus fish are not unusual... especially in the deeper water of the passes. Bright colored "Tarpon Flies" work well but bring your "A" Game! Many tarpon are hooked, but relatively Few Are Landed!
