Homosassa

Homosassa is about a hour north of Tampa. In fact, Tampa International Airport is where you will fly into and where you'll be meet by one of our staff and transported to Homosassa River. Once there you will be shuttled to Tarpon Key Lodge by motor boat. Check in time is 12:00 pm and after you have unpacked there is time to cast a line in hopes of catching a snook or redfish cruising around Tarpon Key. The Tarpon flats are right out our front door and stretch both 50 miles north and 50 miles south of Tarpon Key Lodge. Included are the world famous Tarpon flats of Chassahowitzka, Homosassa and Crystal River, all accessible from our lodge.
