Malum/Winsnes governs beats of 2.5 km on the "road side and 2 km on the railway side of the river included are the famous pools Kjellfloa, Oksøyhølen and one of Gaula's very best pools the Kroken. The GFF has another 4.5 km giving a total of 10 pools for 16 rods. The pools are long (750 metre on average).
